Gold Coast Hinterland

Nerang, Pacific Pines, Worongary, Mudgeeraba, Bonogin, Tallebudgera, Reedy Creek, The Observatory, Currumbin Valley, Tomewin

I have extensive experience with very good results in the Gold Coast hinterland suburbs.

These areas are typified by the hills, trees and valleys. The topography can create black spots but this can usually be solved using mast head boosters and higher gain antennas.

Sometimes it can simply be a case of redirecting  your antenna to a different transmitter with access to either Tamborine, Springbrook or Currumbin Transmitters.

Drop outs and breaking up of your picture can be caused by trees blocking your signal.
In these cases it may just be a case of moving your antenna to a new position on the roof.

In cases where the signal cannot be improved I usually recommend installing a satellite dish to get Free to Air V.A.S.T signals.

Gold Coast Oceanside Suburbs

Main Beach, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach, Miami, Burleigh heads, Palm Beach, Currumbin, Tugun, Bilinga, Kirra, Coolangatta

In my years of experience on the Gold Coast, I have found the antenna reception in the Gold Coast beach suburbs to be generally very good.
The level of signal from the transmitters are medium to high and in 50% of cases the use of a amplifier or a booster is not necessary unless your signal is blocked by a hill or buildings etc.
This can sometimes be resolved by changing to a different transmitter or in some cases may require boosting your signal by installing an Australian made quality Masthead Antenna Booster.
Some residents may experience dropping out of signal due to interference.
This can easily be tested by using my Digital Analyser.
For Telstra 4G interference, a filter can be used or may require a new upgraded masthead booster with filters for 4G built in.

Gold Coast Central

Ashmore, Benowa, Carrara, Merrimac, Clear Island Waters, Broadbeach Waters, Robina, Mermaid Waters, Varsity lakes, Burleigh Waters

In my experience servicing the Central Gold Coast area I have found the antenna reception to be usually very good to excellent.
If you are having reception problems, this can usually be solved by replacing your old antenna with a good bench mark Australian made antenna and quality coaxial cabling.
In some cases your poor reception may be caused by a hill etc blocking your signal. This may require the fitting of a masthead amplifier.
After testing I can advise you of your options to obtain the best possible signal.

Gold Coast South

TV installation gold coast southern suburbs including: Tallebudgera, Tallebudgera Valley, Currumbin / Currumbin Waters, Currumbin Valley, Palm Beach, Tugun, Bilinga, Coolangatta, Kirra, Tweed Heads, Tweed Valley

In my experience servicing the Gold Coast Southern suburbs,  the area has varied terrain. Large hills can block signals but luckily we have access to 3 different transmitters.
A simple test from your roof can find the best option to obtain a good signal.
If your signal is pixelating or dropping out, this may be caused by the new Telstra 4G network interfering with your signal. A test using my Digital Analyser will establish if this can be resolved by either fitting a filter to your antenna or it may require an upgrade to your masthead amplifier.
In some cases it may just be a matter of moving your antenna to a different transmitter.
